Tizen available for Raspberry Pi

Tizen It is an open operating system developed under the umbrella of Samsung with the ultimate goal to reach all your devices.

But over time this objective has become increasingly less ambitious, and Samsung still depends on Android, that does not mean that the work done so far is to be without being exploited, as shows that will be installed on your smart TV, and is now available for Raspberry Pi.

In particular the developed version has been created with the new Raspberry Pi 2 in mind, because it is more powerful to have four cores 900 Mhz; el hecho de usar un procesador Cortex-A7 como el de muchos smartphones seguro que ha ayudado a esta conversión.

In fact as confess developers on the official blog, input Tizen and it worked in a Raspberry Pi 2, although there were some problems with graphics. Thanks to that they were able to create images of Tizen for Raspberry Pi without any complications.

On the same page we can find the instructions to download the necessary files Tizen, create images, save them on a memory card and install it on your device.
