You can already try the distribution Debian Wheezy optimized for Raspberry Pi
Given the problematic launch of the mini-PC Raspberry Pi and the fact that the developers still cannot meet the demand, users will be happy to hear that a trial version of Debian available for small equipment.
According to a blog entry on the website of the Foundation Raspberry Pi, a version of Debian Wheezy the mini-PC Raspberry Pi puede ser descargada y probada por los usuarios (las distribuciones anteriores se basaban en Squeeze).
The modified distribution of Linux comes with some interesting features, as Scratch, Python, the Midori Web browser, a configuration tool for the common initial configuration tasks, drives USB of mounting automatic, omxplayer and more.
The PC Raspberry Pi is based on an ARM processor with a clock speed of 700 MHz, account with a RAM of 256 MB, with a slot for SD cards and a Micro USB connector 5V. The device also includes RCA and HDMI ports.
More details about the distribution are available in the official announcement. Please note that the provided operating system is only available for testing and probably won't be upgradeable to a stable version.
